Mongolian National dress

Clothing and adornment are relics of a nation’s material culture and vividly manifest a people’s way of life. As Mongolian history and culture developed over a long period of time, Mongols realized a distinctive national dress. Mongolian national dress evolved relative to weather conditions in Mongolia, the national economy, established habits, moral standards, culture and social order. Accordingly, research of clothing plays a major role in history and ethnography.
